Admisión GRATIS al Museo Isabella Stewart Gardner en Labor Day
En honor a Francis “Frank” Hatch (1925-20120), uno de los miembros
legendarios de la junta de directores del museo, el Isabella Stewart entregará
boletos gratuitos comenzando desde las 11:00am. Estos boletos serán entregados
cada media hora con la última entrada permitida al museo a las 4:00pm. Los
boletos serán entregados hasta se llegue a la capacidad máxima del museo por
ese día.
En este día especial para toda la familia el Museo ofrecerá actividades para

Chairs, Chairs,
Chairs – Visitors are encourage to find inspiration in the
decorative Renaissance furniture in the Museum’s historic collection for
inspiration as they decorate their own miniature chair.
Mesmerizing Mandala Mosaics – Inspired by the Museum’s courtyard Medusa mosaic, visitors can create their own colorful mosaic to take home.
Greenhouse Classroom – 1st floor
Getting in Touch with Nature – In the
greenhouse classroom, visitors can create detailed sketches of plants and
flowers using magnifying glasses and watercolor pencils. Space is limited.
Calderwood Hall – 2nd floor –
Museum Introductory
Talks
Vistors can learn about the history of the Museum,
the life of Isabella Stewart Gardner, and connections
between the new wing and the historic palace. Approximately 20 mins.
Historic Palace
Sketching Around the Courtyard –1st floor
Visitors can sketch the many plants, sculptures and
architecture in the Museum’s courtyard.
Self-Guided Gallery Hunts – Courtyard – 1st floor
A self–guided gallery hunt to discover nearly
3,000 works of art in the Museum’s collection.
